CDAC Post-Secondary Bursary

The CDAC Post-Secondary Bursary offers financial support to eligible students to help them defray part of their educational expenses. Eligible students will be nominated by their schools to receive the CDAC Post-Secondary Bursary.

CDAC will work with the following schools with regard to the nomination:

  • Junior Colleges

  • Millennia Institute

  • Integrated Programme (IP) Schools (Year 5 and 6)

  • Specialised Independent Schools (Year 5 and 6)

  • Polytechnics

  • Institute of Technical Education (ITE)

  • Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts

  • LASALLE College of the Arts

Eligibility Criteria

Race / Nationality

The student or one of the parents must be a Chinese Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Household Income (From 2024)

Gross monthly household income not exceeding $4,800 or gross per capita income not exceeding $1,400.

 

School Enrolment

The student applicant must be a full-time post-secondary student who is actively enrolled and not on year-long medical leave or on deferment from studies.

Application for Nominated Students

Parents have to ensure that the following Mobile App and accounts are ready before applying online for the CDAC Post-Secondary Bursary:

  • Singpass account and Singpass app

  • Valid email address

  • PayNow linked to the student applicant’s NRIC / FIN number

Singpass Registration

All Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents and Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) holders are eligible to apply for Singpass.

a) Click here to register for a Singpass account online.  Please ensure that your Singpass account is activated using the one-time password sent to your registered address.

b) Visit the nearest Singpass counter in-person with your NRIC / FIN card.

 

PayNow Registration

The CDAC Post-Secondary Bursary will be disbursed to successful student applicants via PayNow linked to the student's NRIC number.  The student applicant must have an active bank account under his/her own name or a joint-alternate bank account with one of the parents to register for PayNow.
