Managing a family’s finance is not solely the responsibility of parents, children have their roles to play as well!
Held in Lifelong Learning Institute last Saturday, 78 families attended CDAC’s Financial Literacy Day.
The workshops are specifically designed to meet the needs of different members of the family.
Parents learnt how to better develop their career and skills, the use of their CPF Accounts and practical techniques on using credit responsibly and where to seek help for debt problems.
The youths learnt about prioritizing their spending needs and the young children picked up basic money concepts through games and videos.
We thank volunteers and our partners for making this event a success: Citibank, Citi-SMU, Credit Counselling Singapore, e2i, Institute for Financial Literacy, JA Singapore, SkillsFuture SG, and Southwest CDC.
