TARGET GROUPS

The CDAC Workfare Programme will specifically target at:

• Single-parent families with dependent children which include the widows/widowers, the divorcees and the unwed mothers;
• Intact families with children but the breadwinners of the families are low-wage earners; and
• Dysfunctional families, for example, parents have been missing, parents are serving prison sentence or in drug rehabilitation centres; and
• Low-wage earners with dependent family members (e.g. aged sick parents, disabled siblings or adult disabled children). 

Eligibility Criteria

• From single-parent, low-income and dysfunctional families;
• Willing to engage in full-time or part-time employment; and
• Monthly household income or per capita income do not exceed $1,500 and $450, respectively;
