CDAC recruits and trains volunteers as Family Befrienders to support the low-income families

• become self-reliant ;
• achieve their social mobility goals; and
• learn parenting and financial management knowledge and skills.

 

Who are we looking for?

• At least 21 years old;
• Able to communicate in Mandarin, English and preferably some dialects;
• Completed GCE 'O' level or above;
• Mature, understanding, approachable and have a strong passion to help;
• Able to commit to a case for a period of at least 3 months;
• Enjoy working with low-income families; and
• Prior counselling/befriending experience/qualifications or other volunteering experience would be preferred.
