kidsREAD

kidsREAD is a 1 year programme that reaches out to children of needy families between the ages of 5 to 7 to promote the love of reading and cultivate good reading habits in them from a young age.

Through this programme, we seek to provide an avenue for children from various races to interact from an early age and to help enhance the quality of life of the children and their families.

kidsREAD is a collaboration with the National Library Board.

Who can apply?

• Singaporean or Permanent Resident students 
• 5 to 7 years old
• Monthly gross household income not exceeding $2,500 or monthly gross per capita income not exceeding $650

How to apply?

Please enclose photocopies of :

• Both Parent's NRIC
• Student's BC
• Latest Payslips or CPF Contribution History or Notice of Assessment of all family members staying at the same address

Submit them together with the completed kidsREAD registration form to the CDAC Centres nearest to your home.
