The Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC) is a self help group for the less successful individuals in the Chinese community. From 1 September 1992, all working Chinese Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents contribute monthly to the CDAC Fund according to the wage level indicated below:

Gross Income refers to all remuneration in money due or granted to an employee in respect of his employment, including overtime pay, allowance (e.g. food, shift or transport allowances), commission and bonus.
