NATIONAL PCDT-ICDL CERTIFICATE IN WORD PROCESSING, SPREADSHEET & PRESENTATION


 

 

INTRODUCTION

National PCDT-ICDL Certificate In Word Processing (using MS Word) is designed to let the trainees perform their everyday task in creating professional documents using a word application. They would be able to edit, format and print the document. The trainees would demonstrate the ability to create standard tables and using mail merge tools.

National PCDT-ICDL Certificate in Spreadsheet (using MS Excel) would equip the trainees with the ability to create formulas or apply functions to create a well formatted spreadsheet document. Trainees would be able to demonstrate competence in creating and formatting graphs or charts.

National PCDT-ICDL Certificate in Presentation (using MS Powerpoint) would allow the trainees to create a presentation, incorporated with pictures, images and animations. They should be able to create charts and graphs, draw shapes object to be used in the different slides. And use of animations to create an interesting presentation.

ASSESSMENT

At the end of each course, trainees are required to take an exam to be certified for the National PC Driving Test Certification – Word Processing, Spreadsheet and Presentation.

 

COURSE SCHEDULE

Each course is 21 hours in duration.  Examination is 1 hour in duration.

 

Lessons are held twice a week on weekday evenings ; or once a week on weekend.

Award holders must achieve at least 75% attendance and sit for exams. Those who failed to do so would have to refund the CDAC sponsored amount of the course fees.
