ICDL MODULE 2: USING THE COMPUTER AND MANAGING FILES


 

 

INTRODUCTION

The Introduction of Computers course is for Beginners to equip them with general appreciation of hardware and software of computer. 

ICDL Module 2: Using The Computer And Managing Files (Microsoft Windows XP) is designed to let the trainees have the knowledge to operate the operating system and manage (create, edit and delete) the files.

 

Trainees would gain insight knowledge of how to protect their systems from viruses. They can also manage their printing outputs from the print management facilities available in the operating system.

ASSESSMENT

At the end of the course trainees are required to take an exam to be certified for the National PC Driving Test Certification-Using the Computer and Managing Files.

 

COURSE SCHEDULE

Introduction to Computers - 7 hours

ICDL Module 2: Using The Computer And Managing Files (Microsoft Windows XP) - 8 hours

 

Lessons are held twice a week on weekday evenings; or once a week on weekend.

Award holders must achieve at least 75% attendance and sit for exam. Those who failed to do so would have to refund the CDAC sponsored amount of the course fees.
