INTRODUCTION

The aim of
this course is to equip the participants with the ability, knowledge, and
skills of two units of competencies under the Singapore Workforce Skills
Qualifications Systems (WSQ) for the Security Manpower industry. The units of
competencies are Provide Guard and Patrol Duties and Provide Incident
Management Services. |

Knowledge of Facilities and Security Duties and Responsibilities of a Security Officer Handling Situation and Incidents including Handling Bomb Threat Relations with Public Law Enforcement Legal Authority of a Security Officer Professionalism and Ethics Customer Service and Public Relations Verbal Written Report and Notes- Taking Evidence Protection and Preservation Fire Fighting and First Aid Training Court Protocol; Basic Safety and Defence Tactics Practical Training - Providing Guard and Patrol Services Practical Training - Providing Incident Management Services |
