INTRODUCTION

This course aims to equip participants with the driving skills to drive heavy vehicles and eventually to obtain the class 4 and / or 5 driving license.

COURSE CONTENT

The course provides intensive practical training on operation of heavy vehicle.

COURSE SCHEDULE

Course duration is 4.5 hours

7 lessons of 45 minutes each during weekdays or weekends

CDAC provides sponsorship for class 5 driving course for award holders who have successfully attained Class 4 driving license.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Must possess valid Class 3 or Class 4 Driving License. Test for eye sight will be conducted before commencement of course.

*Upon successful completion and attainment of Driving License.

For Class 4 Driving Course (Train and Place Programme), participants must be working as Class 4 Drivers or are reassigned by company to drive Class 4 type vehicle for at least 3 months after attainment of Class 4 Driving License. Documents such as letter of appointment / employment letter and vehicle log card must be submitted to CDAC for disbursement of achievement incentive purpose.

Award holders must achieve at least 75% attendance and sit for all assessments. Those who failed to do so would have to refund the sponsored amount of $412.
