INTRODUCTION

This course will equip those who wish to provide care for infants/toddlers aged 2 to 18 months with knowledge and competencies for their effective care and management.

Theory 100 hours + Practicum 60 hours  (part-time)

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Applicants with Fundamentals Certificate in Early Childhood care and Development   OR   with  minimum 3 GCE ‘O’ with credit in

English as a First language (English intake) /

*3 GCE ‘O’ with a credit in Mandarin (Mandarin Intake)

 

Applicant has to be gainfully employed (salaried worker)

Applicants need to have basic first aid (for childcare) certification before attending the above CIT course. If you do not have the first aid certification, please enquire with the training provider for more details. The registration fees and course fees for Basic First Aid have to be borne by the trainees.

 

Award holders must achieve at least 75% attendance and sit for all exams. Those who failed to do so will have to refund the sponsored amount to CDAC.
