NITEC IN BAKING COURSE

(BREAD /CAKE / PASTRY)


 

INTRODUCTION

The aim of the course is to provide the basic knowledge and skills for participants to perform the job of an assistant baker.

Comprises of 3 modules: Cake, Bread and Pastry.

COURSE SCHEDULE

Course duration of 14 months (3 modules, per module is 20 weeks). Conducted twice a week on weekday evenings, 6.00 pm -10.00 pm

 

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Applicant must be gainfully employed during application and throughout the whole course

Course Fees

$ 4800 ($1600 x 3)

CDAC Sponsored Fee

$ 4560 ($1520 x 3)

Fees to be paid by Award Holder

$240 ($80 x3)

 

Award holders must achieve at least 75% attendance and sit for all exams. Those who failed to do so would have to refund the sponsored amount of $4,560.    

 

CDAC sponsorship is for the course fees.  Trainees must bear additional cost for registration fees, examination fee, uniform, tools, textbooks at approximately $700.
