This course is designed to prepare to sit for the A+ Certification for PC Service Technician test

(certificate awarded by CompTIA if passed exam)

 

COURSE CONTENT

Safety, PC Hardware Components & Tools,

Storage, Communication Concepts, Videos,

Computer Buses, PC Configurations, Disassembly & Re-assembly, Printer, Network, Diagnosis and Troubleshooting, PC Repair, Maintaining PCs, Monitors and Printer, Fundamental of Operating Systems, Installing and Supporting Windows 9x and Windows 2000, Diagnosing and Troubleshooting and Supporting Network.

COURSE SCHEDULE

48 hours, twice a week on weekday evenings or

once a week on weekend

 

Lessons are held twice a week on weekday evenings ; or once a week on weekend afternoons or evenings

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Attended PC Building and Maintenances courses

 

EXAMINATIONS     

1) Core Hardware Technologies &

2)  Operating System Technologies

Note :  Both papers must be taken not more than 30 days after the course.   Exam fees of $609 (with GST) to be payable by applicants
